Briefly describe about precipitation reaction.
Answer / Kapil Rana
A precipitation reaction is a chemical process that occurs when two substances in solution react to form an insoluble compound, resulting in the formation of a visible precipitate. In immunology, precipitation reactions are often used to detect and quantify antigen-antibody complexes. When antibodies bind to their specific antigens in solution, the complexes can form precipitates that settle out of solution.
