What is the difference between the sun jvm and bea jrockit jvm?..

Answer / Durgesh Tulsyan

Sun JVM (now known as OpenJDK) and BEA JRockit JVM were two different implementations of the Java Virtual Machine. While Sun JVM was a reference implementation, BEA JRockit JVM was known for its high performance, garbage collection efficiency, and better handling of large heaps. However, Oracle acquired both companies and now Oracle JDK is the primary Java implementation.
