Because the DST have a characteristic property of constant
water molecule in its structural bonding (i.e. 15.66%)
which is constant at NTP.Use only NIST certified DST for

Disodium tartarte is available in dihydrate salts.
Depending upon the weight of the compound one can calculate
the water content in Disodium tartarte.
By titrating the known amount of water in Disodium tartarte
using the KF reagent one can calculate the reactivity of KF
reagent.
And the same KF reagent can be used to determine the water
content in sample.
