What are the limits for LOD and LOQ?
Answer / Sulabh Trivedi
Limit of Detection (LOD) is the lowest concentration level at which an analyte can be detected but not necessarily quantified, while the Lower Limit of Quantitation (LLoQ) is the lowest concentration level at which an analyte can be reliably and reproducibly quantified. Both values are dependent on various factors such as analytical technique and sample matrix.
