1. outlook express was removed.
2. Documents and settings folder was replaced by simple
users.
3.start menu is changed, no more fly-outs and scroll-outs
scroll down is introduced.
4. ribbon interface instead of drop down tool bar.

Although the works of both os are same still The differences are:
1. The looks,graphics and appearance is improved.
2. More user friendly.
3. Most of the driver automatically install like audio, vga etc.
4. Plugin & play in most cases like when we are using LAN, Blue tooth or Wi-Fi.
