Hi,

No, as the 2 devices are dissimilar devices we require
Straight Cabling as switch and hub are 2 different devices
we require straight cabling to connect.

If 2 devices are similar then one requires a Crossover
cabling.

Cross Cabling is used to connect to similar devices in a
network.Here Cross-over cable is used to connect EZ Serial
Switch to Same type of device which is similar and not to
hub.

yes,we need cross over cable to connect EZ serial switch to another hub but we need straight through cable to connect other type of device. we also used straight through to connect EZ serial switch and hub , this type also going to recognize the connection..
