HT Breaker means High tension breaker which is used for protection of our transformer before LT or x-mer we use RMU (ring main unit ) for transformer protection,if we don't use HT breakers then we use DO fuse for x-mer protection which will blow due to excess current.We also use VCB at switch yard for protection purpose.
