SI engines are high speed engines.
SI engines have low thermal efficiency
SI engine works on otto cycle.
Constant volume cycle.

Compression Ignition Engine
CI engines are low speed engines.
CI engines have high thermal efficiency
CI engine works on diesel cycle.
