In an alternator running with a balanced zero p.f. lagging load, phase differernc between the resultant armature flux and main field flux is always____?
options is 180 degree....why?? explain.
Answer Posted / shahbaz shaikh
the main flux cuts the armature conductor and hence induces emf in conductor ,conductor are connected to load current start to flow this current produces flux known as armature flux and according to lenz law this flux opposes cause of its production which is main flux hens displacment is 180
