As we know all that IP converter works as current to pneumatic converter i.e 4-20 mA to 3-15 psi output, an EP converts the electrical signal to pneumatic for example SOV, solenoids valves are use for the operation of on off valve and use for fast response in action for valves, and the generally in sov electrical signal are use i.e 110 vdc this electrical signal is open the path of sov by actuating
and pneumatic goes to actuator part and valves operates.
