The simplest answer to calculate weight of any steel bar,

1) D squre / 52.91 = wt of steel in kg/ft (D=dia of steel bar in 1/8 inches

2) D squre x 0.006161 = Wt of steel bars in kg/mtr (D =dia of steel bar in mm.

D Squre = D X D
