how to calculate no. of bricks for 1 cft?
how to calculate cement and sand in cft?

Answer Posted / faisal qaseem

Dear I think the answer is incorrect and is some what like that:

Sand Qty will be 6/7*33 = 28.285 Cft
to get its dry volume 28.285 * 1.54 = 43.5 Cft

Also bricks in market are not available in standard sizes, practically its size varies and is around 8.75"*2.75"*3.75"

whereas to get the volume from the same quantities (Cft volume of all walls considering bricks only) as obtained by estimation (Autocad and Excel etc), the ration will be practically 75% and 25% and not 67% and 33%.
