difference between ceiling fan
Answer Posted / parameshwari
usually in motor there will be two parts
(1)stator-armature part
(2)rotor-magnetic part
ceiling fan:
armature is made as rotating part (if we want to make the armature as rotating part than we need to have more space which is not possible in case of ceiling fan)
table fan:
magnetic part is made rotating so there is no need of using commutater, and armature is made stationary
