How to calculate the quantity of water in cement mortar eg.
CM 1:3?

Answer Posted / qc

As per ASTM C 109/C 109M – 01 , W/C is 0.485. It mean when we add the cement 1Kg, we need to add water 0.485 kg. When we make the six mould of 50x50x50mm,We need to mix
Cement, g 500
Sand, g 1375
Water, mL 485
this is the water content in cement mortar.
