Direct Expenses: Direct expenses are those expenses that are paid only for the business purpose, which is very essential without which business cannot run.
For example, Cost of Production, Direct Labor, etc
Indirect Expenses: Indirect Expenses are those expenses that are paid for keeping up and running your entire business.
Examples of indirect expenses generally include insurance, utilities, and Salaries for Employees, etc. Since these are expenses you would pay for the entire business, these are considered indirect expenses.
