why we require Differential pressure?Why we use Orifice Plate?

In order to measure the flow rate through a pipe we require the DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE because Flow Rate is directional to the differential pressure.

Orifice is a flow meter which produces a differential pressure across itself and measures the flow rate using U-Tube manometer.

Yokogawa CENTUMVP R6.09 unable to download to Engineering Station with ExaOPC R3.75 The issue is when I try to download the common project section to the Engineering Station (STN) from the HIS in System View, it is unable to connect.
