If single phase having 220v so why 3phase is440v.

Whrere 3 Phase Star connection
Line vlotage = root 3 * phase voltage
if line voltage (Phase to Phase) = 415V
then phase voltage (phase to neutral) = 415/(root 3)
= 240v
