how to calculate steel columns beams and slab please give
me brief calculation
Answer Posted / biswajit sinha
Approx,
1.5 to 2% steel in columns,
1 to 1.5% in beams ,
0.7 to 1% in slabs and
0.5 to 0.8% in footings.
(%age of Conccrete.)
if concrete is 100 cum in Column.
than we take min 1.5% and max. 2% steel.
It will be 1.5 cum to 2.0 cum steel.
1.5x7850= 11775kg/cm3 (min.)
2.0x7850= 15700kg/cm3 (max.)
(7850 is density of steel per cum)
