what is the disadvantage of leading power factor...why can't
we use it (pf=0) for a long period of time?
Answer Posted / k. s. rajiv
It results negative voltage regulation, again decreases
pf,high current, voltage spikes, power loss etc. In short all
these adversely affect load and network. So connect
capacitors individually to the load so as to be isolated it
whenever the load is turned off.
