what are advantages of ac supply over dc supply?

Answer Posted / anthony p.

A normal 2-Way repeater which utilizes either AC or DC
voltages will consume around 12 Amps in DC, and consume
only 4 Amps on AC.
The previous answer was correct in the supply side, but in
the consumer side, I wanted to show the difference in
comparison.
Most elecronics are similar in regards to this type of
ratio.
