why synchronization done in clockwise direction?

Answer Posted / vikas wadhwa

In my point of view; in modern turbo-generators there is
already provision of about 5% automatic load command as
soon as gen. breaker is closed thus leaving no chances of
gen. tripping on reverse power. Hence, it will not make any
difference technically whether syncronization is done in
cloclwise or anticloclwise direction.
