To measure the current in the cicuit use ct.It is a current
tr(inst.tr).In L.V CIRCUIT WITH LOW CURRENT NEED NOT
REQUIRE A C.T(LOW CURRENT ,CAPACITY AM METERS WILL DISPLAY
THE CIRCUIT CURRENT).BUT IF CURRENT IS HIGH IN L.V CIRCUIT
THE C.T REQUIRMENT ARRIES DUE TO THE SIZE (BIG) OF AM
METERS & SAFETY FACTOR CONCERN.CT RATIO LIKE
100/1,150/1,200/1 LIKEWISE.IT MEANS EX;-(200/1) IF 200 AMP
FLOWS IN PRIMARY THAN THE SECONDARY AMP IS 1 AMP WHICH FLOW
TO THE AMMETER BUT THE METER WILL SHOW 200AMP IN ITS
CALIBRATED SCALE.
SIMILARLY FOR HT CURRENT MEASURMENT WE MUST USE A CT TO
MEASURE THE CIRCUIT CURRENT. DIRECT MEASUREMENT IS NOT
POSSIBLE DOE TO SIZE(BIG) & HUMAN SAFETY FACTOR CONCERN.
SO CONSIDERING THE RATIO THE AM METER WILL SO THE CURRENT
FLOWING IN THE CIRCUIT.ALL THE CTS CONNECTED IN SERIES IN
THE POWER CIRCUIT.AMP METERS ALSO CONNECTED IN SERIES.

A commercial Building is designed with 14th floor levels with indoor substation of three phase transformer with rated capacity of 1000 Kva.The transformer delivered 65% of its rated capacity at 0.67 power factor lagging.Because of low power factor, the power customer was penalized and certain cost was charged accordingly based on every point percentage lower than 85%.This situation may repeatedly happen on the succeding energy bills of power customer. The power customer is desired to improve its historical power factor of 0.67 lagging and no further penalty be impose by the local power company on the next bill. Q: Identify the appropriate solution you want to offer to Client?.Justify SCIENTIFICALLY and MATHEMATICALLY the principles behind the solution.
