In fluids, there are loosely spaced molecules,
intermolecular forces are less and when applied to shear
stress it deforms continuously.
On the other hand, solids are having densly spaced
molecules, intermolecular forces are high as compared to
solid and it deforms only after a certain limit which we can
say elastic limit.
