PLC (Programable logic Controller) is a device used to
automatically control a process system. It consists of
several parts like a power supply (tipically 24Vdc), input
module (where we collect and receive all data from field
instrument devices), the processor (which analyzes the
parameters received and compares/makes decision based on
input and output), and the output module (which responds to
the process according to a predermined built in program).
All this control is done in one system called a PLC.
