For an ideal black body

(A) absorptivity = 1
(B) reflectivity = 1

(C) emissivity = 0
which is true???????

Answer Posted / jayesh

ideal black bodu absorbs whole amt of radiation inserted on it
thus absorbance = 1

as the body absorbs all thing thus reflects none
so reflectivity = 0

now good absorber is always good emitter for the case of black body
emissivity = 1

following this sequence answer is (A)
