what is the different beetween kva and kwh?

Answer Posted / keshav

Both are unites of power.
KWH=KVA X power factor.
or KWH=KVA X PF
If power factor is not given, it is assumed to be 0.8
KWH is the actual power that is available and can never be more than KVA.
For pure resistive load, KWH=KVA as Pf is unity in this case.
