Is LV shorted in magnettic balance test?If yes why?
Answer Posted / tanmay kumar
generally magnetic balance test was done in transformers to know the ratio that means to check its rating whether it is giving the output or not as per the rating,,,in case of magnetic balance test the voltage feeded at the primary side always i.e l.v side and the secondary side is at no load i.e open ckted and a tongue tester is used to measure the amount of flowing current from primary to secondary.
