is there any chance to get shock from the transformer oil at
the time of maintenance due to its dielectric property. . ?
Answer Posted / santoshvarma
Transformer oil will have a dielectric strength of more than
40KV at normal conditions, because of impurities or moisture
the dielectric strength deteriorates and come down, f it
comes down the transformer will be short circuited( primary
and secondary windings) and will be busted until that there
is no case of getting shock for a human body
