How to calculate the CFM to TR?
What is the Formula
Answer Posted / sreenivasa rao avupati
We have to do Heat load calculation where we can achieve at
Grand total heat ( Sum of Grand Sen Heat + Grand Lat Heat).
TR = (GTH*1.05)/12000 TR - GTH in Btu/Hr
Calculation of TR from CFM is a thumb rule and dependa upon
inside design conditions. For Comform applications ( DBT-
Inside 2DegC & 55% RH we amy consider 400 Cfm per 1 TR).
In case of low temperature ( DBT:23+/-2 Deg C and RH <50%
this can be 250 to 300 Cfm per 1 TR.
But my recommendation is to do rough Heat load calculation
which can give the appropriate TR requirement.
