to limit short circuit current
to reduce 1 2 3 harmonic
to reduce inrush current
to increase inductance , reflectance of circuit

We have Diesel generator of 200KW. fuel consumption is always same,even connected light load or full load. Is it right?
when the Transmission and Distribution network where is the "feeder" lines are located? and why should be used in T&D network.....
y we use neutral,all r told its used to for closed path..k its a just used to closed path,in a transmission line y we put same conductor used n both phase and neutral..if we use less than phase conductor in neutral mean we ll reduce cost its right r wrong..if we use mean any problem occur in transmission line..
