what is the requirement of commutator in a universal motor?
Answer Posted / gaurang
commutator is use to facilate the collection of current, so that we can use this electrical energy for our purpose. And commutator reversing the direction of current across one half of the pole and further reverses across another half of the pole so that we can get AC current or voltage.
