earthing and grounding are the same, grounding terminology
is used in american standards whereas earthing is used in
electrical standards and earting is provided for human
safety and the chassis of the electrical equipment which
are intended as non current carrying parts is grounded
(earthed) to earth

we have consol make 3 phase servo stabilizer for cnc m/c. while installing the earth neutral voltage is 1.7 volts at stbilizer off condition and when stabilizer get on en voltage reaches 4.8 volts (new earthing is done and neutral is helthy condition all phase to neutral volts 440,442,441 v)why this happen.solution for cause.

HELLO EVERYONE, I RECENTLY HAVE FOUND ONE PROBLEM, I WAS TAKING NO LOAD TRIAL OF AN HT MOTOR 920 MOTOR , 1440 RPM , 6.6 KV, WITH AUTO TRANSFORMER. AT 450 V, LOAD WAS 40 AMP AND SPEED WAS 250 RPM. BUT AS WE INCREASE VOLTAGE FROM 450 TO 480V, LOAD BECOME 41 AND SPEED REDUCED TO SOME RPM . SO WHICH PHENOMENON ACTED HERE FOR REDUCING SPEED.?? AND IS IT HAPPENING ALWAYS OR IT IS RARE? I ALSO HAVE FACED SUCH PROBLEM WITH FEW LT MOTOR ALSO.
