Though both Salary and Wage are payment for service
rendered, salary is regular payment for the long terms
service, attached with annual benefits and service benefits
including gratuity and pension on retirement. Salaried
person is to carry out the works entrusted on him from time
to time and subject to rules of transfer and
timings.(probably unskilled)
Wage is the payment for particular type of works,
especially skilled or technical and on periodical terms and
renewable from time to time
( the usage of daily wage or monthly salary is wrong.
Salary is always on monthly and wage is always daily - may
be paid weekly or bi-weekly)
