No,capacitive is better
To be more precise, None of them is benificial, we will
happy to use unit pf instrument.
But As we already have many instruments like motor, induction
heater etc which works on lagging factor, and are responsible
for making lagging pf system. So, we need something to
neutrilise the effect. This can be done by encouraging use of
leading pf instruments.
So, one may say capacitive pf is beneficial
