What is power factor ?What are the benefits of improved
power factor & how. Please explain with examples.?
Answer Posted / ramesh
Generally power Factor are defined as the ratio between
Realpower(KW)/KVA (apprent power)
For ex- 8/10=.8
For kw= kva *.8
63*0.8=50.40kw
If power factor increses to .9 then
63*0.9=56.70
so the value kw increses if power factor increses
which indicates low current conjunction
