line voltage(kV)/(squ.root of 3))*squ.root of 2. now the
question is, IS this above formula correct for both STAR and
DELTA connected system???

Yes.LA is connected between line and earth ,hence it
subjected to only phase voltage.Line voltage(rms)x root 2/
root3 =peak phase voltage.
