what is 43 and 53 grade of cement? that 43 & 53 represents
what?

Answer Posted / dr. paul morton-thurtle

Not quite right. Exactly, in the SI units, the number after
the C represents mega, or million, pascals per square metre
in the mgs system. Mpa. I agree that a square metre is a
million square millimetres, so yes, 35Mpa, or 70Mpa or
whatever does divide by 1 million to give per square
milimetre. So, yes, C? can be pere square millimetre, but
this is not exactly what is meant by the defibition. A
pascal is the SI unit of pressure and is 1 newton per square
metre. In the industry, we use the mgs system, which is
metre - gramme-second.
