in rectifier circuit,we are using the capacitor as a filter
to remove the ac signal.but capacitor blocks dc & allows
only ac. explain about it?

I think capacitor block the dc supply because of the
capacitor reactons is 1/2*3.142*f*c. so here frequence is
zero. if frequence is zero there is no current.
