What is the difference between Pipe & TUBE?

Answer Posted / shah rakesh g.

Tube is defined by its OD and Pipe is defined by NB(Nominal
bore)and thickness as schedule.

Tube OD is calculated in MM as (OD in inch * 25.4)but for
pipe upto 14" will not be calculated as (pipe NB * 25.4)
because upto 14" NB pipe the pipe OD will be higher than
calculated as (pipe NB * 25.4).Above 14" the pipe OD will
be calculated as (PIpe NB * 25.4)
