what is the use of impulse line in AFBC boiler , WHY WE
CONNECT IMPULSE LINE TO TRANSMITTER , DRFT GAUGE ETC ????????
Answer Posted / amit patel
In case of Level measurement boiler drum , if we are not
used impluse tube then steam directly contact with
transmitter diapharm which getting damaged beacuse of TX
diapharm can withstand maximum temp around 150 degree
centigrade. So when steam flow carrying in impluse tube
then its temp comes down due to atm temp and becomes
condensate water.
