why we use stones or rock pieces in transformer area?
Answer Posted / pratik
The main reason is that of stepping potential. In the transformer area stepping potential should not be more than a certain value. We know the fact clearly that we cannot walk fast over stones, our steps do become slow, and with this our stepping potential becomes less which is required for our safety.
