Is there any local or International standards that prohibit
the installation of earthing pit in the planters area where
the earthing pit is subject to continues soak in water?

If earth pit is always wet ,the ER remains good always. If
corrosion is the problem ,cast iron pipe or superior quality
of GI pipe can be used.Planters are not exempted from
electric shocks.
