what will happen if we directly give supply to rotor of a
induction motor?
Answer Posted / vishwatheja1989
it is dangerous to motor(it may burn) and supply(large current flow) as induction motor must have a shorted rotor(closed winding). if it is opened and give the supply it acts like static transformer.
