In the above:
cos(phi)=PF= KW/KVA formula is correct.
but KVA is apparent power not reactive power.
KVA= V*I ,
KW=V*I*cos(phi) ,
KVAR= V*I*sin(phi)
KVA=apparent power=Sqrt(KW*KW + KVAR*KVAR)
