when turbine trips generator will becomes induction motor or
synchronous motor?
Answer Posted / sumit
no ,if turbine trips it is right that bcoz of inertia ,the
generator rotates but it stops after a few minutes and the
generator cum motor gets stationary.but these days we have
the POWER TRAINS in which whenever we have excess of
gases,we can run turbine and then the generator for
electricity purposes......such trains can easily be seen
in POWER STATIONS.
