What is Rate Tds Agsinst Salary if Salary is 15000\- pm

Answer Posted / subhash a.

1. The above answer is absolutely right. But is only in the
case of assessee (employee in this case) is being other than
senior citizen and woman.

2. Here no other deductions or savings been furnished.
The amount subject to deduction of TDS comes to Rs. 20000/-.

But Rs. 800/- per month = 9600/- is allowed as transport
allowance. And HRA is also to be calculated according to the
information furnished by employee.

3. Savings in the form of lic, etc. also deductible from the
taxable amount.

After deducting all these above there may be no need to
deduct TDS from his/her salary.
