why we can't use more then 50 hz in india ? Is it possible ?
Answer Posted / pradeep
There are two standard
1-220v & 50hz
2-110 & 60hz
In india we use 220v .As the voltage increases current decreases. So loss will minimize. And the cost of distribution decreases as we use less diameter of conductor.
So price is the main factor.
