If single phase having 220v so why 3phase is440v.

In case of single phase voltage the voltage is measured from
1-phase to neutral but in case of 3-phase voltage the
voltage is measured from 1-phase to another phase but not
among three phases. Hence the 3-phase voltage is
=1.732*single phase voltage.
