what is the principle of motor

Answer Posted / kunal

motors work on the principle of FARADAY's law of
electromagnetic induction. "when a current carrying
conductor is placed in uniform magnetic field, the force
acts on the conductor.the direction of the force is given by
left hand rule". left hand rule state that if we stretch
first three fingers of left hand mutually perpendicular and
if index finger denotes direction magnetic field, and if
middle finger denotes direction of the current in the
conductor then the thumb shows the direction of force acted
on conductor.
