tell me salary and good and bad aspects of this service and
what is promotion chances in this.

dear mr. gurjar
first of all i would like to congratulate you on your
selection. The divisional accountant is a very good and
sought after career by the young aspirants. This cadre
involves a lot of independence and authority. At the same
time a lot of responsibility is to be borne.I feel this is
the best possible posting cadre available with the SSC
graduate level examination. In case u are not satisfied with
the job after joining it, i would advice u to prepare for
IAS prelims but not SSC graduate level.

Hi Friends! I am selected for the post of Tax Assistant in CBEC (Central Board of Excise & Customs) through CGLE-2010 securing SLC/00029 rank. Can anybody tell me when the department call us for joining. Please reply.
